My Best WikiPedia Pages
While WikiPedia’s pages all look more or less the same (i.e. boring), they contain TONS of great, if dry, research material.
Perhaps my favorite feature of the entire site is “Random Article”, which plonks you on a totally unique page each time you press it.
Here, in no particular order, is my personal top 10 of the site’s pages.
List of board games Not exhaustive by any means, but a great place to start browsing games on the site
Bjork One of my all-time favorite artists, and there’s so much to learn here about the pixie-like pop star
American Civil War As a Brit, I have had little exposure to American history. A fascinating resource
History of Rail Transport in Great Britain Another topic I love to read about!
List of Video Games So many wasted hours, so many memories
Prince (Musician) My favorite 80s performer, such a weird, talented guy. Prince Rogers Nelson? You can see why he shortened it
Beer Mmm… beer
Texas Holdem Perhaps the driest article ever about poker
Monty Python Certainly the funniest, most original comedy group of their generation
Liverpool FC You’ll never walk alone! Come on you reds…
